Comments: Thank you Ron and Gail for the fine job you both did in bringing the crew together for the reunions and all the work you did on the Web Page and news letter. I'm sad that these are now at an end. You have done this now for 18 or 19 years. I'll miss sitting down and rehashing the Oglethorpe days. My lung cancer might have stopped that anyway. Thanks again for the super job.

Comments: Son of KARL AND PEGGY WALKER. MY DAD PASSED AWAY MAY, 26, 2010. THEY SURE DID ENJOY THE REUNIONS. ESPECIALLY THE PEOPLE. I HAVE LISTEN TO MANY A STORY FROM HIM ABOUT THE NAVY DAYS AND FROM BOTH HIM AND MY MOM ABOUT THE REUNIONS. THANK YOU ALL FOR THE MEMORIES.
Comments: Hi Guys I just learned that Art Ginsburg died today. He became Mr. Food on 168 TV shows nation wide. He was also a guest on the Rachael Ray Show several times. He had dozens of books out that he wrote. His well know expression was," OOOH, It's so good!!!" He was 81 years old. He was also our shipmate, as he was a cook on our ship. Thought you all would like to know.
